Elon Musk rebranding Twitter to “X”
Twitter has formally started the process of changing its name to “X.”
In the wee hours of the night, Elon Musk tweeted about the news, writing in his first message, “And soon we shall bid adieu to the twitter brand and, gradually, all the birds,” and in his second message, “If a good enough X logo is posted tonight, we’ll make [it] go live worldwide tomorrow.” He also participated in a Twitter Spaces conversation, but he didn’t say anything other than that Twitter would change its logo the next day.
According to another tweet from Elon Musk, x.com now points to Twitter as of this writing.
