Sound of freedom [Film Review]

I recently became aware of the film ‘sound of freedom’ via the hate campaign around it from the mainstream media. I found that rather odd, considering the movie is about a man on a crusade against child trafficking.

‘Sound of Freedom’ is based on a true story about Tim Ballard, a former federal agent on a journey to save a little boy and his sister from pedophiles and human traffickers.

The subject matter is dark, to say the least, but the filmmakers and actors handle it with care.

It’s a grounded, heartfelt film that’s sparked a lot of conversation online.

As a father, I will say it’s turned my paranoia up to 10, especially the real-life CCTV footage of abductions early in the movie.

The film is eye-opening in how it shows how intricate the underworld of child trafficking is. It’s an international network, involving the most sinister human beings, and the statistics are only getting worse.

‘Sound of Freedom’ is by no means a feel-good summer movie, or big-budget action flick, but its a necessary movie I recommend checking out.
